Let’s do something amazing

Magic for kids.
And kids at heart.

I’m Chris Plehal, aka Mr. Christerious, a magician based in Philadelphia. As the father of a 5-year-old, I love making kids smile and laugh. I’ve performed magic at schools, camps, parties and community events. I do a free show every month at CHOP.

My mission is to make sure EVERY kid gets to experience the joy of magic. If you’d like some joy and silliness at your next event, give me a call.

FAQ

  • I’ve done tricks for kids as young as two, all the way up to grandparents. Most of my shows tend to be for kids ages 5-10, but I’ve entertained adult audiences as well. Even if a show is intended for kids, my goal is that everyone in the audience has a magical time.

  • My standard act is about 45 minutes. This includes fun warmups with the kids and lots of silly on-stage tricks. Several tricks involve kid volunteers. If your event needs something with a shorter or longer timeframe, let me know and we can talk about it.

  • Yes! If an event can’t accommodate a full performance, I can do tricks for individuals and small groups. I often like to do this after shows as well.

  • I want to make sure that magic is affordable for everyone. Private parties start at $300, but for schools, nonprofits, and community groups, I offer a sliding scale. Give me a call and we can work something out.

  • Sorry, I can’t tell you. Magicians’ code.
